Expert is equipped with man power, machines and motive to achieve the goal of business excellence. Right from conceptualization of the product to converting it to reality, everything contributes in its own unique manner. Our Design Team comprises of Engineers with comprehensive set of skills backed up with practical experience to conceptualize the customers' requirements. A wide range of quality tests like Positive Material Identification (PMI), Radiography report evaluation, Dye penetration, Hardness and Hydro Tests add value to the product at every stage.

With in-house machining and assembly processes, every valve is manufactured with skilled hands and experienced brains. Special processes like painting and welding are done by skilled operators to meet the product quality requirements. Finishing processes like packing and dispatch are also done with utmost care so that the product reaches the application safely and securely.

Expert has a balanced mix of Conventional, semi-automatic and automatic machines to streamline various processes on a wide variety of products. Conventional lathe, drilling and milling machines in association with semi-automatic and automatic machines for all sizes and spans so that the machines are used to the best of their capabilities. Skilled operators assigned to each of the machine gain considerable experience over the years and reach a level of expertise in their fields.

In addition to the machines used for metal cutting, various other machines like testing rigs and lifting equipment support all the ongoing operations so that no bottlenecks are created at any stage. Maximum machine utilization and minimum machine idle time is the aim of our machine shop.

Man Power

Expert has a task force with a large palette of skills at dispense of every employee. Right from a machine operator to a manager, individual skills are used collectively in a holistic approach so as to ensure the output at each stage is of the highest degree of quality. Skilled operators practice our values of empowerment and respect so that the new comers are adequately trained for the future.

'Ownership at Work' is another quality of our task force where every employee does their job considering themselves as the owner so as to put in 100% of knowledge, skills and experience earned till date. It is on account of this, that there has been no major non-conformance reported in audits conducted various internal and external agencies.

Continuous improvement

At Expert, continuous improvement is considered a part of any activity. True to the statement made by Maasaki Imai with regards to improvements through Kaizens, at Expert, we value and document smallest of the change in process which bears the potential to create biggest of the difference in overall efficiency.

The approach towards continuous improvements is rather proactive where we believe in planned changes. Initiatives like Kaizen and Suggestion schemes instill zeal in all the employees to participate whole heartedly in the combined effort to take a step further. Activities like Kaizen week empower employees to think out of the box and enjoy the spirit of Kaizen.

'Chintan' is another such initiative unique to Expert and is intended to be used as a tool to get collective ideas for overall improvement of the process and people. In this one of its kind initiative, employees are divided into six teams based on zones and each team meets weekly once to discuss various internal and external issues of the interested parties. Numerous suggestions and improvements are discussed from the viewpoint of feasibility and effect on output with fruitful discussions leading to execution of the ideas for improvement.
